“I love to act” Daredevil’s Elden Henson dramatically declares

Daredevil’s Elden Henson just bloody loves acting. Known for his role as Foggy Nelson, Henson expanded on his passions in an interview today
Daredevil star Elden Henson has confirmed long-standing suspicions that he does indeed consider acting one of his great passions in a candid interview with the Fantastic Fools.
Henson, who plays Matt Murdock’s friend and legal partner Foggy Nelson on the show, has garnered near-universal praise from critics for his willingness to get in front of the camera and act.
“Almost every morning, I wake up and feel the burning desire to act”, Henson said.
“I often find myself thinking ‘man, I do love acting’ during a scene, and when I’m not acting my most common thought is ‘life is good, but I wish I was acting right now’.”
He is also recognisable to audiences through his role as Pollux in both Part 1 and 2 of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, although he was critical of the direction given to his character in the blockbuster franchise.
“For me, the most crucial part of acting is the words you speak, and in [Mockingjay] my character was mute, which I felt compromised my performance as an actor”, Henson explained.
“I would’ve liked the opportunity to act more in that film, given how many people saw it, but these things happen.”
Henson will appear in Season 3 of Daredevil later this year on Netflix.
