New Mutants Delayed to February 2058

The trailer for the last X-Men movie was released in October of 2017
Nearly 15 months after its initial release date, Simon Kingberg has revealed that Josh Boone’s New Mutants film has been further delayed.
“Yeah, the actors and stuff are all a bit busy, so we won’t be able to release it for another 39 years”, disclosed the Dark Phoenix director and long-time X-Men producer.

Fox’s adaptation of Chris Claremont’s New Mutants series has undergone a multitude of delays and re-shoots, and the recent purchase of 20th Century Fox by Disney had many wondering if the troubled film was ever actually going to be released.

We asked Marvel head honcho Kevin Fiege about New Mutants, and about 5 minutes later, after he had finished laughing, he confirmed Kinberg’s statements.
“Yeah, um, haha… there’s definitely a… delay on that one”, he said while wiping the tears of laughter from his eyes.
Josh Boone, director of The Fault in Our Stars is the film’s director. The movie finished filming in September of 2017. The initial trailer for the film was released just one month later. However, it seems that fans will have to wait even longer than anticipated for the eventual release of the film.
